Academic community and fellowship beyond all borders and barriers
The Inter-University Centre, founded in 1972, is an independent, autonomous academic institution with a mission to promote international co-operation between academic institutions throughout the world. The IUC is structured as consortium of universities and other scientific institutions that form the centre's policies and objectives. Members of Council are representatives of each Member institution. Council is the policy-making and the highest governing body of the IUC. Council elects the Executive Committee and appoints the Director General, responsible for the functioning of the Centre, its academic programmes, and finances. The IUC Association is providing the legal basis for the functioning of the IUC in Croatia.
