Course description:

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy of solid samples will be taught with special emphasis on topics relevant for spectroscopists with previous experience in NMR of samples in the liquid state. Introductory and in-depht lectures by internationally renowned experts on topics including: Spin interactions and spin dynamics Magic angle spinning (MAS) and cross polarization (CP) Homo- and heteronuclear MAS NMR recoupling techniques NMR of quadrupolar nuclei Experimental aspects All topics will be supplimented by interactive sessions using hands-on computer simulations.
