Course description:

The main goal of the course is to include the courses at the IUC in the wider network of the doctoral studies in Europe and to establish a formal framework in which the interested doctoral students can get ECTS credits through the participation at the IUC-courses. The course covers the wide range of the issues in contemporary analytical philosophy, from epistemology, philosophy of mind and ontology to ethics and logic. Besides the lectures of the invited professors, in the course programme students get the possibility to present their papers and comments the papers of their colleagues with the aim to improve their argumentation skills but also to acquire the knowledge about up-to date literature and disputes.

* PhD students who present a paper at the course get 10 ECTS credits
