Course description:

The course is studying new developments in the philosophical analysis and understanding of religion and religious phenomena. Especially new theories in philosophy of religion are discussed. In present time much awareness is given to a sociological understanding of religions and philosophical reflection of religion is neglected. The course wants to stimulate a different way on looking at religions. For this the various theories in philosophy of religion are very helpful
