Since many of the IUC programmes deal with similar issues, we draw your attention to the “Poznan Declaration”, accepted in September 2014 by the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU). CGU is a network of some 70 universities for promoting cooperation in higher education. At the suggestion of prof. Lennart Levi and prof. Bo Rothstein, the CGU 20th general meeting at the Adam Mickiewicz University, in Poznan, Poland, September 2014, had as its main theme "Whole-of-University Promotion of Social Capital, Health and Development". The intention for this meeting was to produce a "Poznan Declaration" for the promotion of this theme in the education of students around the world. The "Poznan Declaration" recognizes the university sector´s potential, as well as responsibility to help shape the moral contours of society for the better, and asks universities and institutions of higher education to support and enact, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of ethics, transparency and anti-corruption. In short, to adapt a QoG-perspective across faculties.
