In its 83rd meeting on 19 April 2008, the Executive Committee underscored the importance of speeding up efforts to further enable participants in IUC courses to earn ECTS credits. Course directors must be encouraged to elicit support from their home universities in setting up criteria and procedures whereby students in IUC courses may receive documentation of ECTS credits earned.
